Sunderland Safeguarding Learning Week 2023

How you can prioritise the welfare and wellbeing of yourself and others?

Sunderland Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) and Sunderland Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) are putting on a week-long event which we aim to be a celebration of all we do in Sunderland to support our own and our colleagues’ wellbeing when working in safeguarding.

The week will address the following themes:

  • Our Role in Safeguarding
  • Leading on Safeguarding in our Organisations
  • Secondary and Vicarious Trauma
  • Adopting a Trauma Informed approach to Safeguarding
  • Co-Production with Experts by Experience

Our timetable and links to book your place can be found below for individual sessions but to peruse the full list visit: SSCP Training Courses (safeguardingchildrensunderland.com) .

During the week we will be making available learning resources and promoting regional training sessions linked to the weekly theme. Please follow our social media channels for updates @sunderlandSCP  @SunderlandSAB
