SSCP Parental Problematic Drug and Alcohol Use Workshop

In conjunction with CGL WEAR Recovery Sunderland and STSFT's ACT (Hospital based Alcohol Care Team), the Parental Problematic Drug and Alcohol Use sessions will enable participants to develop understanding and working knowledge through insight into the picture in Sunderland around these issues, the impact on our children and young people, methods of working, referral pathways and support available.
Expected Outcomes:
- Shared understanding of parental problematic drug and alcohol use and how it may present in Sunderland
- Develop an understanding of the impact on children and young people and their families
- Consider our response and the methods of working available to us
- Gain knowledge on referral pathways and support
- Strengthened partnership working arrangements and relationships through shared experiences and discussion
